Individual contributor, OSM

As part of a corporate editing team and hobbyist cartographer, I regularly improved detail of environments with OpenStreetMap, adding rendering quality and improvements for navigation in end-user experiences.

Editing projects

This list is an overview of some of the work I am capable of achieving with OpenStreetMap.  While brief, they show a commitment to attention to detail and accuracy of representing real-world locations in a digital space.

Identification of modeling errors by satellite imagery and misshaped geometry by ground truth analysis to correct modeling of a local point of interest.  I used building, highway, barrier, and nature key:value combinations to improve rendering creating detail which aims to blueprint and render a 2-D 'digital twin' of the physical environment.

Investigation of geoJSON data verifying location and feature ID associated to a missing address point, and use of ground truth analysis with details collected during site assessment to improve modeling and feature detail of a commercial business.  I used building, highway, and address key:value combinations to improve rendering and location detail to improve navigation, search and display in maps.
